For Sale 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT package. The truck is a 318/V8, is a 4x4 and has BRAND new GOODYEAR tires that were put on this past August. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The truck has power steering, power windows, cruise control, AM/FM Cassette, and a hitch. The vehicle is mechanically sound and runs great. I had the truck inspected at a certified auto shop in August and had the following work done to the truck: · Front Wheel Alignment · New Front and Rear Brakes · New Valve Cover Gasket and Set · New Pinion Shaft Seal · New Leaf Spring · New Heater Hose · New Oil Seal · New Rear Spring · New Adjuster Kit · New U Bolt · Frame Repair Weld in Supports on Rusted Sections and Rustproofed The only problems I currently have with the vehicle are the power locks do not work. You have to manually lock the vehicle with your key. The only other problem I have is the metal shop must have overlooked a small hole on the passenger side floor. When the road is wet a small amount of water will make its way up through the floor. It is a minor cosmetic problem and will need to eventually be patched. Other than that the whole underbody was repaired and rustproofed in Aug. and is in great shape. Between work done on the vehicle and the new tires that were put on I spent over $2500 on the vehicle in August. I have the maintenance records and receipts documenting the recent work that was done. The transmission was also replaced in 2005. The Four Wheel Drive would make this an excellent winter or work truck.
