Vehicle Detail

Here is a 1967 SWB Chevy Truck that I have had for about a year. It was a project when I bought it, and it came with a lot of new parts that had not been installed. I have been driving it whenever I want, to wherever I want, but I have two other projects and it's time to let this one go to someone that will take it to the next level. 67 SWB has been lowered and has a 350 v8 and Edelbrock 600 carb.. The motor is and older model with the dipstick on the drivers side. It does have a nice cam and sounds great. The motor was in the truck when I bought it....but runs good and has good power. Starts every time with no drips underneath. It has been changed over to a serpentine system and has power steering.. The steering box is tight and firm with no play. There is also a late model ac compressor but it is not hooked up. The alternator is new, as well as the heater core, headers and gaskets. The pipes were put on in May by Maxi Muffler new with Flowmasters. It has a new 18" electric fan from Skip White Performance with an adjustable Painless (brand) fan controller. The radiator is the large copper rad with no leaks although it does need a recovery unit. I have the fan set to 190 and it seldom came on this summer. The brakes are still drum but have been gone thru with good shoes and I did replace the Passenger side wheel cylinder. Good firm pedal with new foot pads on brake and clutch. The tranny is a GM Getrag 5 Speed. Shifts good and is tight...Hyd. clutch is in good condition. This is the full size chevy tranny ...not the s10. Not sure of gear ratio with the stock rear end but it has plenty of giddy up and a great cruise in 5th for the interstate. The body......cab ...doors.... and bed are solid. There is some body work to do where the emblems...trim and such have been removed. and the front drivers fender needs a little attention as you can see in the pic's, as well as one place on the hood but no rust issues. It has a rattle can paint job now but looks really better than you would think. No Runs and evenly painted. The cab is rust free with a new bench seat, as well as new carpet with insulation (not factory). The door panels are new as well as the arm rests, and door and window handles. and rear view mirror. New door rubber .... window felt and rubber kits have been installed with exception of the vent windows. The front windshield is tinted and new with new rubber and does not leak. The rear window I believe to be stock but is in good condition. Heater controls have been re built and along with the new heater core and new defrost vents and hoses, put out good hot heat. This truck has a "Painless Wiring System" that has been professionally installed throught the truck but still needs to be finished in the cab. The instrument cluster has a 5" tach mounted along with manual oil pressure and temp gauges in working order. The voltmeter is mounted but mot hooked up. No speedo... will leave to you to put in stock or install custom. The heater fan works on high...the wipers work on low, blinkers need to be hooked up...ect..The steering coloum is tight but most folks want a tilt wheel so I will leave that to new owner. . The headlights...taillights ...parking and brake lights work as they should. Parking, tail, lenes are new with the gaskets and bulbs. The dimmer switch needs to be installed but I have a new one I will give you. The floor pans on this truck were solid and looked like new before I installed insulation and carpet. No rust in the cab corners. Rocker arms have been replaced. The bed is all steel and is rock solid with no rust no holes. It has been rubberized and painted with rustolium . The tailgate is rust free...straight and solid...opens and closes easily. The alumnium wheels are not curbed. 235/15/15 on front should be replaced with appx 25% left... the 255/70/15 on the rear half appx 50% left. This truck has been lowered and has front and rear roll pans and turns heads everywhere. It drives .. rides... and sounds great. I am a 61 yr old adult and this truck has never been dogged. I have a clean and clear Tennessee Title in my name. I have a 68 stepside that I want to start on and a v8 Blazer project so this one is ready to take to the next level. It's well worth the starting bid.
