2003 Honda Rancher ES

I bought this ATV new from Hobbytime Motorsports in Bolivar Missouri back in October of 2003. Living in a suburb of Chicago I don't get out much except a few times a year when I get up north to my cabin. I have had a lot of fun trail riding and mudding with this ATV. When it comes time to work, it can pull alot of weight. We cut trees down once a year up north for fire wood. This ATV has no problem pulling a 5' x 10" wagon filled with wood. The Electric Shift transmission has five forward gears. You shift gears with your left thumb by pressing an up or down arrow switch located on the left handle bar grip. First and second gear are geared low for pulling and it works! This ATV will out pull my larger Rincon because of its gearing. In 5th gear, I have had the Rancher to 42 mph. It could go faster, but I have never been interested in doing so. The Rancher ES was manufactured as a full-time 4x4 drive machine, but I added an aftermarket transfer case (I guess you call it) that allows the machine to be driven in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, as desired, by pulling a knob located on the front right of the ATV by the handle bars. I have also added a 2000 lbs winch and a 4 foot Cycle Country plow and electric angle kit. Lastly, I added ITP wheels and Mud Lite tires for looks and traction. I have taken very good care of this machine and will miss it. But, I have two others and need to thin out the herd. There are 262 hours and 1032 miles on this machine. All maintenance is done on a yearly basis or as needed. There is nothing mechanically wrong with this ATV that I know of. I have the original Certificate of Title from the State of Missouri. I never titled it here in Illinois.
