Attention All Car Collectors and American Muscle car fans..... THIS IS THE ONE YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!... If you’re looking for a real garage find, this is it!!! Up for auction is an ORIGINAL and UN-RESTORED 1966 Dodge HEMI Coronet 440. This is not a recreation or a clone, this is a true 426 HEMI car. This car has been decoded, inspected, and certified by Chrysler & Plymouth guru Galen V. Govier. It has also been registered with the Chrysler Registry. See pics of his complete report in this auction. The “history” of the car thru word by previous owners is that the mileage of 25,022 is in fact the original miles since this car was once a race car. There have only been three previous owners. An original installment contract comes with the car as well as the original build sheet, fender tag, jack instructions, a couple of factory manuals, and a pic of what it used to look like in its prime. It has its ORIGINAL numbers matching Torqueflite Transmission & 8 ¾ Rear End, however, car currently has another engine and transmission installed. This obviously is not the original motor that the car came with. I am not sure why the original motor was taken out. I’m told that its original 426 Hemi engine is still on island. I do have an original1966 dated 426 Hemi motor with dual carbs (air cleaner to oil pan) that I can sell for an additional cost on top of the winning bid (e-mail for pics). Unlike the “normal” blue, red or black cars, this is a VERY RARE factory color combination of MAUVE METALLIC with a painted WHITE roof and White & Black interior believe to be a 1 of 1 color combination. This is also a factory HEATER DELETE car. The body is in decent shape considering that it has been in Hawaii all its life. The trunk is in exceptionally great shape. Most rust is surface rust with the rust thru mainly on the outer body (see pics). An easy & very restorable car that would be a great addition to any collection. This original stuff is getting harder & harder to find. Here's one you don't have to go looking for, just bid!!!
