This is a classic 1971 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback muscle car in factory yellow with black interior. Car has a 302 engine which replaced the factory 351 by the previous owner. (Not sure why he replaced the engine, but the car definitely has power! The 29,371 miles is the mileage on this engine) The car as always lived in Texas and has had 3 owners who have all babied it. The first bought it new and when he passed away his wife kept the car and when she remarried her husband also was a mechanic and took great care of it. They kept it in a garage and he did most of the work himself. They insured it for $40,000 with a classic cars insurance company and used it as "weekend" car to take to car shows etc. We purchased it from them 2 years ago and have used it as a second "fun" car for my husband (Texas country legend Ray Wylie Hubbard) and 18 yr old son. We never drove it out of the 30 mile area we live and keep it under a car cover when not being driven. Our son is now in college and Ray tours most weekends so the car is not getting any use. Would love to sell it to someone who will appreciate and take care of it. We have lot's of manuals for working on it, service records going back to the 80's as well as current ones showing we have kept it inspected, regular oil changes, brand new tires as well as other maintenance we have done. The seats are all in good shape, the A/C blows cold and the heat blows warm. The radio works and we have added 2 JL Audio Speakers with a Sony Explode Amp which gives it an awesome sound system! It also has an auxiliary hook up for iphone or ipod so you can play your own tunes out of the speakers. There is no rust on the engine or underneath (see pics).
