This is a right hand drive (steering wheel) classic mini that is a joy to drive. The engine well is upgraded to 1990's fuel injection. It has a 1275 single port fuel injected engine that starts right up without hesitation. It has a brand new rebuilt transmission aquired from the mini parts dealer during the summer of 2010. (7 Enterprises in Auburn, California.) It shifts like brand new. It runs very well without any known mechanical problems. It does not require any addition of oil between 3000 mile oil changes. The body is in good condition without any obvious rust problems. It does have a couple of the usual small parking lot dings but nothing major or distracting. Unfortunately one of the driving lights on the front grill disappeared while sitting in my driveway during the last 4 weeks. I will include a set of new driving lights with the car. They will appear similar to the photos. The tires have plenty of tread left. The interior is nonsmoking without any disappointments. The seat covers are in great shape. Also included is the factory style roof rack as seen in the photos. A requisite shop manual, SPI engine tuning meter (very hard to get in the US), a small tool kit, gas can, good spare tire and jack are included as well in the trunk. All gauges work. Coordinated (non-smoker) black interior is great. The windows are "windup" and not the old sliding windows. The carpeting is in great condition with new floor mats. The trunk contains a red keyed cutoff switch to save the new battery while in storage and prevents theft. Hop right in and get 35mpg. It has been dependable summer transportation for me at my cabin in Idaho. I am "trimming the heard" of my minis now because of a military deployment to Afghanistan. I dont want her sitting in a garage while I am away. I have four minis and have owned minis as a hobby since 1973. This is one of my best running minis that I have ever owned. I have imported three minis over the years and know what a real challenge it is. It takes 3-4 months on average from purchase, shipping, transitting US customs and then shipping to a US residence. I just wont import them anymore no matter how good the deal may seem to be. You can own this one without any of the importation hassles and a free and clear Idaho title. LOW RESERVE- The car is being sold "as is where is". Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Its not hard to ship a car around the US. I have paid anywhere from 500-900$ on average depending on where the car is located. I am two blocks right off Interstate 80 in Elko, Nevada so it is an easy pick up for a car carrier.
