I need to sell my '68 912. If you were bidding on the white car that sold two weeks ago, this is your lucky day! I think mine is at least as nice and LOT more correct. So.... 1968 Porsche 912 Coupe VIN 12800355 in Bahama Yellow with 47,000 original miles. This is an original CA black ;plate car the spent it's entire life in Marin County. It has never lived anywhere with damp or salty air and is completely rust free. I purchased the car from the estate of the Clifford Lewis family. The car sat for a long time and battery acid damage required replacement of the fuel tank support but there are NO other areas of the car that had anything more than light surface rust. The car includes an original tool kit, Messko tire gauge, jack and owner's manual. I have the radio, emissions system manuals and the warrranty booklet included. It originally had dealer installed California smog equipment but it was removed long ago. . It has an original 5-speed transmission. Fuel tank was boiled out and plastic lined and lines were cleaned or replaced. Original Solex carburetors were gone thru. Five correct 1968 5 1/2 x 15" original chrome wheels are included with Michelin tires and Spare wheel with original Semperit tire. Rust free, original paint CA Black Plate car. Interior is in Very good original condition! There is a repairable tear on the drivers seat. Original dash pad is in great shape and Still has the original radio in working condition with all original paperwork. There are about 3 or 4 small parking dents on the car. All glass is original.
