This 1981 Fiat Spider 2000 is in great running condition after taking a nice "garage nap" for the past six years. Last month the car was delivered to our local mechanic who serviced the car so it would be ready for the open road. Listed below is some of the work that was completed. Receipts will be included with the sale.*Remove and reinstall the gas tank for cleaning*Install new battery*Install new spark plugs*Install rebuilt alternator*Replaced all fluids (oil, transmission, brake & coolant)*Install a new radiator fan *Completed tune up*Brake system serviced with new front pads *Replaced the rear window in the convertible top*Full wash, wax and detail I'm helping to sell this Fiat for friends who moved from Sunny California to Ohio and will do my best to accurately describe the condition of this car. I have 100% positive feedback, because if you are the high bidder and win the auction and do not like the car for any reason after inspection then you do not have to buy it.... it's that simple. I have driven this car several times and it drives very nicely. The car is cold blooded at "start up" as with similar year cars, but once the engine is warm the car drives great and the automatic transmission shifts very good. It really is a fun car to drive and the current owners used the car as a daily driver before parking it in the garage six years ago when they had their first child. I could not find any rust in the body, trunk or floorpans and the paint is in really great condition. This car is a 1981 as shown on the CA title, however ebay would not allow me to enter 1981. I'm happy to fax or email a copy of the title for inspection. This is a clean CA title and the odometer shows 25,313 Because this car was not used for six years the CA registration with penalties would be $579. Buyers who will register this car in a state other then CA will not pay the penalties, only your states registration fees. There are small issues I would work on if this where my car. The glove box hinges are loose and one is not attached. The power windows both work but sometimes need assistance going up ( I grabbed the top of the window and helped the motor to push the window up, going down the windows seems to work fine).
