1980 Honda CR

For Sale 1980 Honda CR250R ElsinoreBike is sold as is with no warranty or title.I rebuilt this bike during 2006, and it's been in storage ever since.The motor was rebuilt by Eric Gorr's Forward Motion, it has a new piston, rings, rod and bearings, seals, gaskets,etc.. It has a Mikuni VM carb, I believe it is a 36mm.The front forks are rebuilt 1982 CR480 43mm diameter tubes with a dual leading shoe front brakehub.The front and rear hubs and backingplates have been stripped and repainted.The frame has been stripped and powdercoated.Both front and rear rims are Excels with heavy duty spokes all purchased from, laced and trued by Buchanan's Spoke and Rim Inc.The rear shocks are Ohlins and have been rebuilt by Craig Comontofski at HuskyClub.com.The swing arm is an Aluminum DG arm. It's got a John Astleford chain guide and an aluminum rear brakearm.The Expansion Chamber and Silencer are both PFR parts. The plastic is all new, the gas tank and cap are both NOS Honda parts that have NEVER had fuel in them. I do have another tank that I used to ride the bike about 1-2 miles after the rebuild was complete.The front and rear tires, tubes, and rimlocks are brand new and only have about 1-2 miles on them.The handle bars are Pro-Taper bars with aGunner Gaser throttle assembly and Flanders brake and clutch levers and perches.The seat cover is new. There are lot of new fasteners on the bike,to include the gas tank mounting hardware and brackets.What's not new? The air box is an original part; all theelectrical is original, the seat foam and backing plate is original.
