1970 Rebel Machine. Factory 25A R/W/B, 4 Speed, 'Y' Code Rebel Machine. Rotisserie Resto. '3' pieces of documentation found in : pass seat back, back seat back, and head liner. Original owners manual with orig owner typed on back with dealership address, car vin #. 'ORIGINAL' DOOR TAG AND DASH VIN IN PLACE... SANDED FRAME UNDER STEERING BOX, VIN STAMPED ON FRAME MATCHES VIN ON DASH ! REAL R/W/B 4 SPEED REBEL MACHINE ! Rare AM/FM radio. Started with a rust free car, had it stripped and painted correct white, after which '3M' reflective Machine decals were applied correctly. Paint is flawless, finished 2 months ago. All the original trim on the car is in great shape, removed for paint, buffed and re-installed with new clips. Bumpers re-chromed. New door handles, new remote driver mirror, chrome. The original Machine wheels are in excellent condition ! Brand new B.F. Goodrich tires. The car was completely dismantled, interior out including dash, and front suspension and brakes completely removed. Rear suspension, control arms, rear end all removed. Everything put back on with complete restoration, new bushings, working parts, bolts, etc...New gas and brake lines complete. Engine professionally rebuilt by a long time AMC enthusiast, collector, and former AMC employee. Correct trans in perfect order. Correct Hurst shifter, handle and knob. New Legendary seat covers, new headliner, new carpet, very nice orig dash restored, very nice rear side panels restored, and very nice original door panels restored, look new. Interior is excellent ! The engine bay is 'as new' ! The trunk is correct spatter paint, with orig collapsible spare restored to new again, all jack equipment, correct trunk decals. Orig trunk decals were carefully removed and come with the car. The undercarriage was painted white when the car was painted like the factory did it, then undercoat was re-applied only where the factory did the same, as factory, very clean car. New mufflers done literally just like the factory did it. *Group 19 Performance carb, *cleaned and rebuilt ! *Group 19 performance distributor !The Machine is the hottest car out there right now....it won't last long, don't wait ! I have never seen a completely restored Machine like this one.**Comes with two Rebel Machine wall signs as seen on the wall behind the car, a 1:18 scale diecast replica of the car, and a press pack given out at the Texas Auto show in 1970 when the car was unveiled- includes 4 factory photos in black and white, corporate letters to dealers concerning the Machine, and a decal of the Hippie on a unicycle to put on the car. ENGINE BUILD INFO : INTERNALLY BAL./BLUE PRINTED. BORED .30 OVER. RODS AND CRANK 'MACHINE' (CORRECT). 10.2 COMPRESSION (CORRECT). 291 'DOG LEG' HEADS, BIG VALVE-SMALL CHAMBER, 51cc (CORRECT). REPLACEMENT CAM 'MACHINE' (CORRECT) SPEC. 'MACHINE' ONLY INTAKE MANIFOLD, (CORRECT) EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. TOTALLY MACHINE (CORRECT) MOTOR WITH GROUP 19 CARB AND DISTRIBUTOR ! THE MAN THAT BUILT MY MOTOR IS ONE OF THE BEST, HE IS A COLLECTOR HIMSELF, AND HAS BEEN BUILDING MOTORS HIS WHOLE LIFE.
