older restoration, in good condition. driven daily in 1999. interior is in good condition. . engine is flat head 6. motor cranks over and has fire but not running, paint is good and will buff out nicely, clean title. delivery available. the floors are carpeted so i am not sure what they look like, however from underneath they appear good except for the passenger side floor which has 3 rust holes the sizes of golf balls. it looks like an area about 16" by 16" that needs to be patched. the elect. system has been converted to 12 volt. although the motor spins over and is not seized up and the starter motor works i imagine it needs a complete overhaul. i bought it in the condition it is in and have never had it running or know of its mechanical conditiion. expect to do brakes, exhaust, engine,tires. i do not know the condition of the transmission and rear end.there is a strip of rust by the rear valance about 1/2 inch wide by the length of the bumper that is rusty. the chrome parts need rechroming (door handles, bumpers, trunk handle, interior door and window handles and such). the carpet needs to be replaced but the condition is clean as is the rest of the interior, no odors, rips or tears in the upholstry. the head liner is falling down and the upholstered side panels are in good condition but need re-attaching in just a few spots. the passenger side window is cracked but rest of the glass is good some bubbles along the edge of the side windows but it's a small amount. PLEASE NOTE: several well informed mopar guys have noticed that the front end is from a 1946 -- 1948 car where as the the dash and steering wheel are from a 1942. appearently the previous owner replaced the front end with a later year model. since the car was bought from his estate sale we did not have any history on the car. sorry for the mix up. contact info from me is available at (352) 223 4104.
