Vehicle Detail
2008 Chrysler 300 SRT8 Hit in the front end, salvage title. The motor and tranny are perfect! In fact, there are only 12,000 original miles on it. The interior is flawless. Leather and suede seats. We have $3,000 in parts straight from Dodge/Chrysler, that come with it. The remaining parts left to buy are: ( we did not buy these because these were the parts we were going to get custom to make it a one-off car ): clock spring Front quarter panels ( left and right ) hood bumper headlights grill 2 airbags Was going to be a project but I have too many to do and this needs to go. $10,000 OBOOn Nov-26-11 at 09:18:25 PST, seller added the following information: In order to clear up any confusion I was in the car with my friend when we were hit by a car that lost control and skidded through the intersection. The car was struck in the left front corner causing both airbags to deploy and the computer shut everything down immediately. I bought the car from my friend and began to buy all of the parts to rebuild. The car's entire front end is mostly gone and the front sub frame is bent left and right side. I have all the structural components from Dodge to rebuild including left front sub frame, right front sub frame, bumper supports, core supports, left wheel well, right wheel well, left cross brace, right cross brace, left sub frame connector, right sub frame connector, bumper mounts and bumper support. The motor does not start because the computer has to be removed and taken to the dealer where they will re program it ; the car needs to be put back together in order to at least have a radiator installed which I have not purchased. I have been turning the motor over regularly with a breaker bar in order to keep the cylinders lubed. There is one pulley that is broken on the motor itself. The car has been sitting on the side of my house for almost a year now and i don't want it to go to waste. The rotors are getting rusty and i would rather get rid of the car car than watch it fall apart. Because the airbags have deployed the dash top is ripped and the steering wheel needs a new clock spring and center piece.
