Vehicle Detail

Classic 1992 Jeep Wrangler, Chrysler product VIN: 2J4FY19P2NJ509036 Mileage: 274,000+ Original 4 cylinder engine, turns over on the first try Original 5 speed transmission, works great Original 4wd, works great One owner, 2 drivers This Jeep Wrangler is an Armageddon Cruiser! This ’92 is in rough and tumble shape, with some rust in the usual places, full of dust, dirt, and hay. Original factory yellow paint and added on custom bedliner black accents. Needs new floor pans in front, welding on frame and new exhaust flange. Oversize tires are near the end of their useful life. Possibly needs shocks or spring work in rear. One of the bulbs in the tachometer display is burned out. Gas gauge always says there is less fuel in it than there is actually. All other gauges function normally. Inspection is expired, turning in the plates. Seats, the most comfortable in any vehicle I have sat in, are sadly worn and ripped, but it’s nothing some inexpensive covers won’t disguise. Windshield leaks, and always has. And now for the good stuff… Title free and clear Newer aftermarket soft top, does not leak Heater core approx. one year old, really cooks Newer rear brake lines Newer clutch with factory slave cylinder Original aftermarket soundbar/interior light package, works and sounds great Vintage Kenwood stereo with am/fm radio/cassette deck, works Custom interior (foot) lights, work most of the time Barely used back seat that has spent most of its life in storage, have to dig that out of the garage Battery only about a year old Nice rims, but showing their age Doors in solid condition with original glass, stress crack on metal drivers side door interior, near wing window (remember those?) Replaced seat belts on both driver and passenger side New metal welded onto the body several years ago, addressing the worst of the rust besides floor pans Mechanically inclined? Restore this classic ride, or use it as a utility vehicle to tool around the farm, ranch, or estate. I drove it on unplowed roads through 2 feet of snow this winter and it never let me down or left me in a ditch. It has only been idle since shortly after the exhaust flange broke–during Hurricane Irene (yes, I was riding around on flooded roads during the worst of that too). You could start this baby up and drive it away, BUT the inspection expired in October 2011, so the buyer needs to arrange transport from Collegeville Pennsylvania. Love this car, and hate to let it go, but I cannot afford to restore it properly and can’t stand to see it rust away in my backyard. Fulfill my dream of 300,000 miles…And Beyond!
