An excellent candidate for a higher end restoration, and given the fact that the car is complete, and the body is straight with minimal Body Work required. Start out your build/SS re-creation with a well preserved original, and relatively low mileage candidate like this. Extensive mechanical work already completed includes...... A Fresh and performance-Built 350/383 V-8 Stroker Motor with Solid Lifters and Performance Cam (Zero Miles) Rebuilt Front Suspension Complelety Rebuilt Power Brake System Rebuilt Steering System with Power Steering Pump and Steering Box replacement . Fuel System gone through Clutch System rebuilt And more.... Cosmetic Work Completed on the car includes..... Interior restoration including Seat Upholstey, Seat Foam, Door Panel and Carpet Replacement Undercarriage Detail This a Factory V-8, Power Steering, Bower Brake and Air-Conditioning Chevelle; Lemonwood Yellow in Color. We do not know if it originally came with a 4-Speed Transmission, but we can tell you a column Shift Yoke is not present on the Steering Column. On the topic of transmission, we think it was wishful thinking of simply cleaning up the Gear Box, rebuilding the Shift Linkage and installing. Shifts firm, but pops out of 4th Gear when underway. Our wishful thinking is that it is simply linkage adjustment. We don't know for sure, so plan accordingly. Also, the car has not been on the road since Front Suspension was rebuilt so it needs a trip to the Alignment Shop. This Chevelle is not very far away from being a strong performer and good driver.
