Here it is... my 1995 Honda Civic VX. These cars are rare to find in completely stock condition, and even rarer with low mileage and NO rust! These cars are known for being one of the best MPG cars ever made. This particular one has averaged over 51 mpg over the last 3 tanks. Yes, this car does have the stock D15Z1 engine and VX trans (just figured I would say it before I get asked 40 times). This car is in perfect mechanical shape and ready to drive cross-country today. This car also has NO, ZERO, rust. The body is showing its age, it has numerous dings and dents (hail etc...), but it is rust free and still looks pretty good, and that is saying a lot! This car also is one of the rare Civic VX's that has AC, and it WORKS! The car has good tires, new exhaust, and runs and drives perfectly. I took pictures of it without cleaning it, but needless to say it will be cleaned up for the next owner. I am going to start this auction at .99 with no reserve, but please understand that this car will not sell for a steal. I am listing it with no reserve to generate attention, but I have a buy-it-now price in mind that will buy this car. I know of two local buyers that are willing to pay within 10% of what I want for the car, and I have made them aware of the auction. I would post a buy-it-now, but I hate when scammers click that option and then never follow through (wastes everyone's time) I know exactly what a low mileage, clean, rust free VX is worth in todays market (I still own another one), so understand my price will be reasonable, but not a steal. I know that there are people out there looking for a clean, low-mileage Civic VX and because of that I want to give prospective buyers a few options. Option 1. You can buy the car as it sits. Options 2. You can buy the car with a new paint job. I own a body shop and I love these cars. I bought this one b/c it was in great shape and would be an easy repaint. If you have ever priced a top quality professional paint job than you are well aware of how expensive it can be to get your car looking like new again. I have 2 individuals scheduled to come look at it today, I told both my buy it now price and they think that it is within reason. I just want all interested parties to have a shot at this car, I don't think it will last long. If you are looking for the car to beat gas prices this is it. When is the last time you saw a clean, low mileage, rust free Civic VX on ebay (or almost anywhere else for that matter)? This is the first one I have found in over 2.5 years of looking!
