Up for auction is a clean 1986 Trans Am . Its a two owner vehicle that has always been in my hometown. For a 25 year old car , its in good shape. The rubber is at least 60% all the way around. The paint is in good condition with a little rust mainly on the right rear wheel well . The Drivers side door has a few small scratches. The rear wing cracked so it was taken off. The front bumper hit a parking block and has a crack that is about 4inches long . The wheels are fairly clean , especially for a car that is 25years old. The interior is in great shape , with the exception of the center console lid being broke (it will need replaced). A small section of the headliner just on the main pillar of t-tops has come loose, If you know anything about t-tops, then you'll know this is normal, especially on a car that is 25 years old . The engine runs out nice , but probably could use a tune up . Transmission shifts as it should . The car has an aftermarket cd player , but the factory stereo comes with it . It has an exhaust leak , nothing terrible, but probably should be replaced. The underside is dry , but i'm sure it has some leaks somewhere, but not that i've noticed. Ive tried to explain the flaws rather than brag the car up . In 2000 it hit a deer and the left front fender was fixed, it shows on CARFAX . If you are looking for a cheap 25 year old Trans Am , with the normal wear and tear, then this car is for you . If you are looking for a show winner , you better look somewhere else . For a 25 year old daily driver , this car is in great shape. With minimal money out of your pocket , you could have a NICE car . Look at the pics , ive tried to show you everything i've disclosed.
