2003 SATURN VUE 5-SPEED MANUAL, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, 2.2 L 4 CYL, DOHC ENGINE Base model but loaded with options: A/C, POWER WINDOWS,LOCKS,MOONROOF AM-FM,CD STEREO, ROOFRACK, TILT STEERING, 12V front, 12V rear and 12V cargo area power outlet(s), Child seat anchors Anti-theft alarm system Rear door child safety locks Daytime running lights Engine immobilizer History: I am third Adult Owner. I purchased 10/2006 with 38,000 miles on it from original elderly male owner who had dealer maintained vehicle. Since I have owned vehicle it has had all scheduled maintenance. This past month vehicle began running strange, making noise and died while driving one day. I towed to my mechanic-he states "engine frozen, needs new engine"-possible reasons? Timing chain? (This was replaced at 90k miles). He quoted me $1800.00 for replacement with Used engine and labor. I did not have time to deal with and went out and bought new car, decided to sell as is. While car sat at mechanics some of maintenance paperwork got "lost"-I had always kept everything. Had recent brakes, tune-up, oil/filter. Tires have about 10% tread, will eventually need to be replaced. Everything else is in good working order, no rust, accidents, etc. Minor wear & tear, normal for vehicle age. Is currently inspected and insured but obviously not driveable-would need to be towed. I have Title, keys, etc so it is ready to go! VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS. Let me know if any questions.
