READ IN FULL BEFORE BIDDING!!! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY FEEDBACK or HAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING. This auction is for a 1967 or 1968 Mustang fastback that was being built by Unique Performance in Dallas, Texas several years ago. This particular car was to be Shelby Super Snake number 057. There is not VIN with the car as it was removed when all property of Unique was seized by the Feds after they were busted for title washing. This car offers an incredible start to a very nice project. I have built one of these cars and i am currently in the process of building a second supersnake and i can tell you first hand that the labor for fiberglass fitment alone comes close to 10 grand. This fiberglass kit is from SW Fabrication, which is the company that unique was using to produces the fiberglass for their builds. The kit alone costs 4700.00 and fits very poorly, just like most fiberglass kits, and that is why labor for bodywork ends up being so expensive. The fiberglass that was installed on the car includes: scoops(upper and lower), fiberglass taillamp panel, decklid, rockers/side skirts, supersnake hood, upper and lower nose sections, and fiberglass fenders. PAINT and BODY: The paint was chipped in several places when the car was moved from unique to storage and then from the auction to another garage and therefore the entire car will need to be sanded and resprayed. Someone put straps over the rear of the car and the front to hold the fiberglass in place and it left marks and chipped the paint, but it did not dent the body. The doors have been fit, but i only have upper hinges on them, so they are not aligned properly. The Drivers door has a dent about the size of a quarter in the upper middle section. It should be an easy fix, but i thought i would mention it. The roof section on the passenger side where the roof panel meets the rear window surround has a crack. these areas were filled with lead from the factory, but unique used some sort of reinforced filler. If i were building the car i would grind all of the filler out and weld metal into its place to prevent future cracks. The decklid does not fit well and i had to grind down the edges to make it slide into place. It must have belonged to another car. It will require a few hours of labor to make it fit correctly. I would also rework the bumper to make it fit better. Other than that, the body kit fits perfect and i am very impressed with the alignment of the fenders, nose sections, hood, doors, scoops, rear taillamp panel, and rear decklid end caps. They are all fit perfectly to the car!!!Metal Work: Unique Performance added these upgrades to the car. Tubbed rear wheel wells for use with 315mm wide tires, reinforced trunk plating on side of gas tank, side fill gas cap, shelby taillamp cut outs, custom brackets and studs for mounting brake lines, holes in trans crossmember for routing battery cables, fuel lines, and brake lines, reinforced shock towers, oval tube in passenger shock tower for routing heater hoses, ac lines, wiring, etc. Cowl vents welded shut because they used old air products ac system, which eliminated the need for the stock vents. Oval cut outs in cowl for heat ventilation, cut outs in side of rockers and through torque boxes for functional side exhaust system, AC cut out in dash for center vent, 4 Point Roll Bar, Functional upper and Lower side scoops, extra holes in dash welded shut, reinforcement added to enlarged shifter cut out for use with tremec TKO600 transmission, channel in drivers foot panel for wiring, and reinforced strut brackets and shock towers welded together for extra strength. What comes with the car??? Just the shell and the dolly. I do have a set of new Total control products struts and lower control arms and if you win the car, you are more than welcome to make an offer on those parts. The car comes with two of the lower TCP brackets for their pushrod rear suspension system, but i do not have the upper brackets and if you decide to use that pricey rear end, then you will need to contact TCP to order the other brackets. The car is located at zip code 35209. I will help with shipping as best i can, but the buyer is responsible for contacting a shipping company and arranging for the shipment of the car. The buyer will be responsible for relaying to the shipping company that the car is only on a dolly and does not have steering or brakes and will need to be carefully strapped down to their trailer. If you have any questions or need more photos, feel free to send me a message with your email address and i will be glad to respond to your questions and email pictures if needed. Please keep in mind that Dynacorn bodies cost 15,000 and they dont come with any of the metal upgrades or the fiberglass. If you were to set out to build a car like this you would have well over 30,000 in it by the time you got it to this stage, even though it needs to be repainted. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT TAKE TRADES. I dont need a bassboat, harley, or any other cars!!!!Thanks for your understanding and good luck bidding.
