Vehicle Detail

1968 Camaro, 350, AT Powerglide column shift. Motor and tranny intact. Shifter handle is missing. This is a great car to finish. I bought it about a year ago and started the body and paint but now cannot finish due to lack of resources. Replaced passenger-side quarter panel skin, rear deck panel (below window), and car was sanded and paint prep was started. Body guy did not finish though and there are still some sports on the roof (vinyl top car) and the windshield channels, and a little bit around the edges where the weatherstriping is applied to the trunk. Also, the passenger side fender has been worked and has some mud and if I were to keep the car I'd just replace it. The drivetrain is intact, this is not a roller! I do not know the condition of the motor/ tranny. The person I bought the car from bought it from a friend. According to him, his friend parked it and it sat for several years, then he sold it. There is NO INTERIOR, No windshield, and I'd like to keep the valve covers so they are not included in the sale. The other parts that are shown are included with the car. I have the original heater core too which looks pretty beat up. The back glass is in good shape as are the windows which are still in the car. The regulators are not installed and are included as parts. I sanded and painted the hood hinges and they look pretty nice. All the molding should be there, I bought a new/ reproduction set for the back window, which is included. The altenator, and brackets are out of the car and shown along with the battery tray. The inner fenders are included but the PS has a little rot below where the battery sat As you can see, the floors are in excellent condition. I was told this was an original fold-down rear seat car and that there are clips welded to the floor that identify it as such, I cant say for sure but I'm sure someone can tell from the photos. The title is clear and in my name and registered non-op. I cant find the title all of a sudden, but I will order a duplicate or sell with a bill of sale which I think works too. This car is clean and a great project to finish. The roughest spots were the quarter and back panel which were both replaced and done right. This is a rust-free CA car with the exceptions of the spots mentioned -- which is minimal. The trunk is clean with no rot. To be clear, this car is a project, it does not run, and is sold AS-IS, and will have to be trailered. I am not a mechanic and have described this car honestly, and to the best of my ability. If you have additional questiosn, ask first and then bid. NOTE: According to trim tag Interior trim is Gold (722) and exterior is Butternut Yellow with white vinyl top (Y-6). Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
