Vehicle Detail

I am selling this 71 Dodge Challenger. It has the body parts to be a RT. I was going to put the decals on it, but I have decided to sell it instead. The car has not been ran much since the restoration started. A death happened and the car sat in a garage for a years and started occassionally. It was not driven much because it had no exhaust after the headers. So I bought it as said and I brought this Challenger to where it is now. It has a as a thumper of a 340 with an edelbrock intake and carb. Headers and not sure about the inners but it runs great. Has a 4 speed with the pistol grip. It has a true posi rear with very streetable gears. Exhaust is 2 1/2" all the way back with Flow masters and Pypes for the tips. (They look like factory but except 2 1/2" pipe")The interior has been redone. It has a working tach in the dash. The clock does not work. Everything else seems to work. It does not have a radio installed. Headliner is new and nice. The vinyl top is fine. The body of the car seems to be original. I didn't see signs of quarter panel replacements. The hood and rear panel are from a different car or aftermarket. The paint is a little off from the rest of the car on those 2 pieces. There are nicks and dents hear and there and some paint touch ups. There is a rust spot in front of the passenger rear wheel and a photo was taken. The underneath of the car was painted with POR 15 before I got it and no patching was done. I truely see this as an all original metal car except for the RT panels. This car has new radials and these were bought when the car was being finished so I imagine under 100 miles. The tires do rub when a tight turn is made. The front sits low. I would replace the shocks or see what could be done to quit the rubbing. This is a very nice Challenger with a low reserve. I would consider it a driver and not a show car. I would rather drive a driver also!!! I have had a ton of compliments on the car. Very solid and hard to find in this condition. I also have this Challenger for sale locally. Please message or call for questions. I have dealt with shippers. In the past it has been under $1000 to ship to either coast. I am pretty much in the middle of the States so you decide. Good luck!!!!On Nov-11-11 at 11:59:23 PST, seller added the following information: This is a drum brake car with power steering. It does have the fender tag and I will type it in here. If I can get a good photo I will post. Also, I was able to adjust the front end and there is no tire rubbing issues.
