This amazing little Jalopy was designed and personally built by Chuck Salmen the current Bonneville Salt Flat and Australian class record holder 1932 Ford "$um Fun" Roadster. Mr Salmen has been building and racing everything with wheels since the 40s. This traditional rod is built after his early memories in Southern California of what he saw and built as he grew up in Imperial Valley. It is quite an attention getter and always surrounded by young and old alike. As with all Mr Salmens many hot rods attention to every detail is evident on this car along with performance and reliability. The old 29 has alot of road time clocking in a few hundred miles this past Summer including some long freeway runs through the Redwood Trees up Hwy 101 here in Northern California.
