2001 Nissan Altima GXE Special Edition - Automatic Transmission - 168,441 Miles This vehicle is being relisted because the winning bidder failed to leave a deposit or even come to look at the car. Power Windows and Seats. Strong motor and tranny. Drive it home. Going to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition. It does not pass NY State inspection because of a worn passenger rear tire. Has an oil leak and will leave a couple of drops where the leak is coming from, but it looks like a front seal. Brakes feel fine but I did not pull a wheel to check the brake pads. Slight clunk in front end when you hit and release brake pedal at a rapid sequence when driving 1 - 2 miles an hour. Most likely a worn ball joint or control arm bushing. You otherwise don't notice any problem as you drive. Dent on driver side fender. Could use a good clean up. Interior is otherwise in good shape. New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
