Up for sale is my 1975 XL250. I have been riding this bike on 450 acres on a movie film ranch that I was staying at. I have moved back into the city, and don't have the time to ride anymore. I bought the bike from a local motorcycle shop as a project bike, on a bill of sale. I cleaned the carb, adjusted the points and valves, changed the oil, and ran some clean gas through it. The bike starts on the first kick, idles well, and rides great. I've probably put 300 miles on it this summer, just riding around the ranch (and nearby desert areas). The fork seals are leaking, it's missing the lights and gauges. Other than that, it's a great-riding, good looking vintage bike. Perfect for cruising on a ranch, or a great foundation for a street project. I didn't bother titling it, since I only ran it on private property. The bike is out of the DMV system. No reserve, bike is being sold as-is, no warranty expressed or implied.
