Vehicle Detail
Nice Mercury Zephyr 4 door sedan. All original in great shape. Runs and drives good, has working A/C and heat, but needs a blower motor. AM/FM original radio works good. Has power steering and brakes. Has mag wheels and tires that are only about 20% but also have the original steel wheels with tires and hubcaps. Interior is in great shape with no cracks and just a small tear in the seam in the drivers side in one spot. Miles seem to be correct given the shape it is in. Everything works as it should. Please fee free to ask any questions you may have and I will try my best to answer. Car has a clean title and is located in Knoxville, TN. I will be happy to assist in shipping if needed or you can pick it up and drive it home. On Nov-10-11 at 19:24:56 PST, seller added the following information: Thought I would answer a few questions that have been asked. The car has no rust that I have found. The floor pans are solid as is the rear quarters in the trunk and the uni-body and sub-frame. The only interior flaw in a few small tears in the seams from age on the front seat. The transmission shifts smooth and the car drives straight and tracks correct. The only mechanical issue I have noticed is that it idles to high, but I will get the carb adjusted correctly before the auction ends. I added some more pics I had taken. Thanks all for the interest, it really is clean and the motor runs smooth. The car has been on a few 600mi + trips this summer and did well. The blower motor is bad or it could be the switch. The heat works but it wont blow, it just wafts. The A/C is in working order, but does need charged if you dont run it for a month. Does not seem to leak at all if you use it often. Had to put 2 small cans in at the beginning of summer, but am sure it will need a few more next summer. Please feel free to ask more questions.
