After 2 years, this 67 is fianlly complete. It took about a year longer than I thought it would and in the mean time I moved on to another project. Everything was done professionally at different certified shops. I am by no means a mechanic. There is not one bit of rust on the entire car. I bought it from an older man who kept it in a heated garage and only used it occassionaly. At first I was going to use it as a daily driver so I had the engine and transmission fully rebuilt. $3,600 It has factory power steering, I had some upgrades installed, along with dual flow masters $1,200 I had all the interior taken out, and the paint stripped. Orignal color is that almost grimy green. I had the paint redone dark green $6,000 I had custom interior installed . Seats are black with dark green inside to match exterior $3,900 I also had new rims, tires, and found all original chrome. There are about 12-20 small pieces left on the car to update. All will total less than a couple hundred dollars, and this way you can give it your own special touch. All together I am in the car around $24,000.
