Vehicle Detail
1970 Pontiac Le Mans Sport Up for auction is a 1970 Pontiac Le Mans Sport all original, matching numbers. This is a two owner car with 91,800 actual miles. It comes with a 350 ci engine, automatic transmission, bench seat. Everything on the car is original except for the paint. The original owner had the car repainted by Earl Scheib. It is not the greatest paint job but looks good from 20 feet. Current color on the car is a dark green metallic. The original color was Keylime green metallic which can be seen in the trunk area. This car is in very good shape for its age, however there is some bubbling in some areas. The rear wheelwells, and above the taillights. The viny top is starting to lift in some areas ( see Pictures). The floors and trunk are soild with no holes. The front and rear bumpers are in excellent shape as well as the stainless trim. The rocker moldings will need to be replaced. The interior is all original and in great shape. The seats are not ripped or torn. The headliner has a small patch near the front passenger windshield. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The radio is a AM radio but it is not hooked up. The dash has no cracks. The 350 engine does run well. It does leak oil and tranny fluid. The car will need new springs and shocks because it does sit low. This Le Mans is a nice driver that you can drive and repair at the same time. It would make a nice car to restore or clone into a GTO. If you have any more questions about the car please notify me through ebay.
