2006 Acura RSX Type-S with 88,090 miles. NO RESERVE! The vehicle has fresh water flood damage from a few weeks ago. I am selling the car for parts or repair with salvage paperwork - please check with your states dmv on how to obtain a rebuilt title prior to bidding if you are unsure. Prior to the flood this vehicle was in excellent condition, it ran and drove good with no problems. The body is in beautiful condition with no damage other than some stone chips on the front end. This car is from PA, the chassis is clean with no rust. Before the flood, the interior was spotless. The engine ran great and the transmission was flawless with no grinds or issues like some of these tend to have. The car has brand new tires all around. Aftermarket parts included full exhaust/header, intake, and poly motor mounts. I purchased this from a new Toyota dealer, this was a new car trade-in. The vehicle was siting on my car lot at the time of flooding. The vehicle currently does not run and will need to be towed. Water was over the dashboard. Please see the pictures to get an idea of the vehicles current condition. I cleaned most of the dirt out of the vehicle to make it look presentable. I pulled spark plugs and changed the oil to get any water out of the engine. The car powers up and the engine cranks over but wont start, green key light flashing (immobilizer issue). I would think the drivetrain is still good, as long as the fluids are flushed a couple times. Obviously there are going to be electrical problems with the car and it would need to be stripped down to the shell to get it properly cleaned. This is a good car for someone who wants the parts or for a project. I require a non-refundable $500 Paypal deposit immediately following the auction. Vehicle must be picked up and paid for within 7 days from auction end. After 7 days storage is $30/day. Balance must be paid cash or certified bank check only. I will ship but this would be the buyers responsibility. I am still waiting on the salvage certificate to be sent to me so wanted to mention that there could be a couple week delay. I will sent this paperwork to the buyer as soon as I receive it. Also, NY buyers must pay sales tax on the selling price. Out of state buyers pay only the selling price.
