Vehicle Detail

This is the last year this little fuel miser was sold ,maybe one more year.Anyhow it's a 2000 with a lot of life left. The guy I got it from bought it from bought it new.It had some rust issues in the fimilar areas like rockers, around back fender, and one A-arm needed replaced which was done.I was going to paint the whole car but decided to just touch it up and also paint the rockers with a special chip guard paint that some people use for bed linners. It runs good and does not smoke. The car shifts through all gears fine, and the clutch feels good. The interior is nice the head linner in staying up in place( a problem with some)also the windows work good (also a problem with some). No air to slow the MPGs.I bought it needing an exhaust form center back.I bought what is needed to get it to the muffler, but did not put it on yet,or buy the muffler,so bid as though you will need that done in case I don't get to it.brakes look good.Seats are nice, and carpet as well. The hatch will not hold itself up.It looks OK with the touch up work I did,but in all honesty it will not win any trophys for body work.I also painted the faded bumpers with special paint for that purpose. These little cars are not made for luxury. They are cheep made and made to run cheep.I have a 1994 3cyl 5 speed I drive every day and love it mostly because of the 45 - 48 MPG I get.I will give up luxury to run a car half as cheep as the average car on the road.To each his own I guess.Hopefully the pictures show an honest view of what I have.I do think this car will make someone cheep like me happy for years to come.If you have any questions feel free to call 814-746-1263.If you do not have good established possitive feedback ( good as in 9 possitive of 10) call before you bid.Any honest person will gladly comply. Thanks and hope to hear from you.M.C. Also dash is not faded, and there is a mark or stain on the back seat that I only swept.I feel sure it can be cleaned by scrubbing. On Nov-05-11 at 06:30:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi once again.I picked up the nessasary pipes and muffler to fix the exhaust today. So by the time the auction ends, the exhaust will be as new.Now this car shouldn't need anything for Pa. inspection. That should clear up any questions reguarding this issue.I kept my reserve at the same price, hoping the end bid will be somewhat over my reserve to cover the extra expence. Thanks M.C.On Nov-05-11 at 06:48:26 PDT, seller added the following information: One more thing..There is one picture that does not go with this car.It is the picture of the after market sterio and controler seting on top of the gear shifter. The car I am selling has a factory am fm radio and not an after market radio. Thanks M.C.On Nov-07-11 at 15:01:11 PST, seller added the following information: Please note this is a 5 speed manual transmission, again there is a picture showing a automatic shifter.that picture goes with a 94 3 cylinder geo that I am selling at a later date.I also gave it a fresh oil change and filter. Thanks M.C.On Nov-08-11 at 17:29:45 PST, seller added the following information: I just replaced the back half of the exhaust system including a new muffler.I also replaced the donut gasket comming out from the manifold.Having done all that I just had high hopes that when I started it up,it would be leak proof.I am sorry to report that when you hold your hand over the exhaust pipe with motor running it leaks some.It must be at the conections some where. If I get time I will remove the exhaust completely and search for the leak.I may not get to it before the auction ends so Bid with this in mind.If for some reason the bids do not meet my reserve,it will give me time to get it fixed right before relisting it.I will let it go for the reserve price even though I put quite a bit more money and time into it.I am selling as is with no promises. also I will be away when the auction ends, and will not be back until Sat.sometime.So if it meets my reserve and sells I will not know it.Call me if you are the winning bidder and want to make arrangments to get the car. Thanks M.C.
