2002 Chrysler Town & Country LXi Minivan - 3.8 L - V6 Engine - Leather Interior 96,688 One Owner Miles DVD Player with cordless headphones. Truck is immaculate in and out - very clean. There is one problem. The mom was too busy with soccer practice and lacrosse, thus neglecting the regular oil change. The vehicle ran low on oil and it now has a knock in the motor. They added oil, but to no avail and they immediately stopped using it. It can still be driven, but I would highly recommend shipping. These 3.8 motors are very strong and hearty, so it should not be a problem locating one. If you add $5,000.00 to the final bid price we will install a Jasper rebuilt motor with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. The vehicle has 1 or 2 weak tires and the brakes feel good. I did not pull a wheel to check the brake pad thickness. This truck is being sold in "As Is" condition. No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! No Trades!!! Since it will not pass NY State's inspection (the battery was recently replaced)... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy. Sorry, I don’t make the rules but as a used car dealer I must abide by them.
