Offered for sale is this 1954 Nash Ambassador Custom. This car was designed in Italy by Pininfarina, assembled in Wisconsin, and was the top of the line for Nash Motors in 1954. This car has spent its entire life in Southern California and South Florida and is a very well maintained, well cared for example. This very solid car was resprayed its original color combination of Parisian Blue over Pinehurst Green about 15 years ago and it still shows very well. All of the chrome, trim, and glass is believed to be original and is in very nice condition. Inside this car reveals one of its coolest features. The front seat slides forward and fully reclines to create a comfortable and spacious bed. All of the interior paint, chrome, and headliner are original and very well preserved. The seats were stripped and recovered using a period correct pattern. Under the hood is the original inline 6 cylinder engine. It is mated with a factory automatic transmission. This car has been very weel cared for, properly serviced, and runs and drives excellent. I have put 3,000 miles on this car in the past year and it runs excellent. The undercarriage has all of the original floor boards and body mounts and is very clean and solid. This car also has the very rare Nash wire wheel covers. It comes with the original keys, owner's manual, indoor car cover, and receipts dating back almost 25 years.
