PERFECT CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!! COME ON THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!! Beautiful and very RARE 1996 Toyota Celica GT Convertable and it is a 25th Anniversary Edition. 151,000 miles. Fresh Service including: Timing Belt, Oil seal, Cam seal, Valve cover gaskets, and other gaskets and seals. New engine belts, both side CV axles complete, oil and filter change. Brand new Clutch IN JUST REPAIRS AND UPDATES WE HAVE SPENT OVER $2500 IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND AS YOU BID. IF YOU WANTED TO PAY $3000 FOR THE CAR BUT THEN HAD TO SPEND MORE THAN WE DID FOR THE REPAIRS YOU WOULD HAVE MORE IN IT THAN I AM ASKING. PERFECT FOR A KID GOING TO SCHOOL, A MARRIED COUPLE WANTING A FUN CAR FOR WEEKENDS, A COOL CAR FOR A WORKING PERSON THAT CAN HAVE A LITTLE FUN, A GREAT GAS MILEAGE CAR, A COLLECTOR, A FUN SEEKER, A STRESS RELIEVER, A CAR TO GET NOTICED IN, A 4 SEATER CONVERTIBLE SPORTS CAR IS A DYING BREED, THEY ARE EITHER A 2 SEATER OR NOT ANYTHING CLOSE TO A SPORTS CAR. This car is ready for another 200,000 miles. The Timing belt is good for another 60,000 now that we replaced it. ALL DONE AT A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP Air is ice cold, Factory am/fm cassette with the cd unit separate below it. Interior is a black with a charcoal pattern in the center. Car runs and drives perfect!!! Fun, fast, smooth. This car gets a lot of looks and is so cool. The top is perfect and tan. BBS alloy wheels with almost new tires on rear and the front probably have 10,000 miles left. All the glass is origonal because it still has the VIN etched in it from the factory. We have the books and manual for it. The exterior: some minor scratches and/or dings. Problem area is rear. The spoiler has some paint fade and the rear bumper has paint pealing. From a distance you cannot tell but when you get up on it you can. I know that carsmetics and other touch up places could completely respray th spoiler and bumper for around $300. All in all I would rate it from a 1-10 with 10 being perfect about a 7 The interior: For a car that is 14 years old it looks incredibly well. The seats are still bright not faded and no rips or cuts. The back seat does have a quarter sized burn hole. Dash is clean and no cracks, door panels look good as well. There are a couple of the little plastic vent deals inside the actual air vents that may have a crack in them but hardly noticable. Scale of 1-10 and 10 being perfect I would also give this a 7 or 7.5 The mechanical: I mentioned above all of the recent service and when I say recent I mean within a month or 2. Car runs and drives perfectly, no issues at all. Trunk: The particle board or whatever it is that covers the floor of the trunk is missing. The trunk release inside the car works fine. There is a power antenna but as almost all of them it doesn't work. It is extended halfway and doesn't effect reception. Head, tail, brake lights, fog lights, turn signals , horn, crusie, stereo, power locks, power top, power windows all work perfect and the drivers rear is new. Car fax is clean and does prove that it is a GT 25th anniversary car. We see that there are hardly any of these models out there and the ones that are for sale are up there in price. We are listing it locally on craigslist as well and reserve the right to end auction early if it sells another way. Car is available for local pickup only. It is located approx 5 miles from highway 54 and the Suncoast express way in Trinity Florida. That is also about 18 or so miles to interstate 75. Feel free to ask any questions or if you need more photos. We would love to keep it esp now that the weather is perfect for it but we are tapped and need the money.
