I'm selling my just restored 1973 Datsun 240Z.This Car was last driven on1983 due to engine problems, the gentleman who sold this car to me said it was an overheating problem, later I found out the head gasket was blown. The engine, transmission and carburetors are original equipment in this car, and they all have been rebuilt in this project, the head casting number is N33. The last owner also said the miles are accurate (40195) as you can see on the pictures this car has been completely restored. The body is straight, all the rust has been removed and new 18 gauge steel has been welded to those areas (both floor pans, engine bay side areas, no rust was found around the battery tray area) New interior, rebuilt engine, New paint (car stripped down to the metal), new brakes and suspension parts, new fuel and ignition components, the tank has been cleaned and resealed. Here's a list of almost all the new parts installed. Motor Mounts Battery Relays New Electrical and mechanical fuel pumps with filters. New High Performance ignition components featuring: Petronix Flame Thrower Coil, Petronix Electronic Igniter, High Performance calibrated spark plugs, New high performance spark plug cables( Timing has been set at 7degrees After TDC @ 750RPM) The valve clearance have been set at .010 exhaust and .08 intake. New Cap and Rotor New K&N High performance air filter New High Performance Full Exhaust: Motor Sport HP Headers, 2.5" Full exhaust with 3" chrome tip (the smog fittings have been removed and EGR disabled for better performance) this exhaust screams High Performance at any RPM. New High Performance 3 row radiator form Motor Sports Rebuild and Tuned original Flat Top Hitachi Carburetors New Clutch Kit New Suspension Urethane Bushings All Hoses Replaced New Alternator New Voltage Regulator New Water Pump All new gaskets and fittings New Weather-strip: Hood cowl, Rear Deck, Doors, Deck, under the hood supports. New Kenwood KDC-108 Stereo plays: CD, MP3, WMA, Radio Receiver, AUX (IPod) New 4 Kenwood Speakers: upgraded stereo system with 50 watts four speakers (doors and rear panel) New Interior: New Vinyl Kit, New Carpet Kit, New head liner, New Fan Knobs, New Shift Knob, New Vinyl Seats, New Floor mats featuring Z logos. New High Performance Strut Bars: front and Rear New Billet Z Master Brake covers New Clutch slave cylinder New Master Clutch cylinder New Master brake cylinder New Wheel cylinders New Yokohama P185/70R14 Tires New Emblems and Chrome outside mirrors. And much more... The Rocker cover, the wheels, and the door steps with the Datsun Logo have been powder coated metallic silver. All the under carriage has been under coated for extra protection against rust. The car is in great condition, all the electrical components work (all wiring has been cleaned and sealed with anticorrosion gel), gauges, choke, power antenna, seatbelts warning buzzer and lights, hand break warning, original horn, all the switches, wipers, wiper washer, all light bulbs have been replaced. I also have the receipts for ALL these new components installed and also have pictures of all the restoration process step by step. The receipts and a flash card with all the pictures will go with the car.
