1974 Suzuki

Hunting for buffalo? Here's one for you- a 1974 Suzuki GS 750 three cylinder two stroke. It is just as I found it, sitting in someone's garage for the past 16 years. It comes with a clean New York State title, which makes it an excellent candidate for restoration. The engine is not seized; it turns over if you depress the kick start and appears to have good compression. Can't see any problems there. There's some pitting on the chrome and it's covered with about an inch of dust all over it. The handle bars are badly rusted but still I see no evidence that this machine was left outside for any length of time. It's just been sitting in the garage, waiting. It originally had a fairing on it, which has long since disappeared. But the headlight was removed (included in the sale) and all the wiring is still just hanging there like spagetti. The gas tank is a little rusty outside and full of rust inside. There's a few ways to remedy this, just check the internet for suggestions. (I successfully used an electrolysis process on the BMW i'm currently riding to get the rust out). Fork seals look good, the bottom of the radiator is clean, tires will pass inspection. All the original parts are there and it shows no signs that it was ever dropped, except for a scraped engine side cover. Seat is perfect. I would restore this beauty myself, but need cash for another BMW I'm restoring. If you are a hands-on type of guy looking for a winter project, this may be bike for you.
