You are looking at an 2002 Ford Escape XLT 4x4. This vehicle is loaded with all power options, leather and moon roof. I have owned this truck for 3 years and it has been very reliable. Do not let the mileage fool you. The motor runs very strong with no engine noise or oil leaks. The motor sounds like the day it rolled off the showroom floor. I have maintained regular oil changes with Castrol GTX High Mileage. The transmission shift perfectly with no leaks or other issues. The body is in great shape for the year and mileage with only the usual dings and scratches...no rust!!! There is one small dent in the rear hatch and edge of bumper where I backed the truck into my 4-wheeler in the driveway....this is shown in the pictures. The only reason I am selling this vehicle is because my kids are now older/bigger and I purchased an Expedition. This is a strong and reliable little truck that I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. THE GOOD:1. Strong Motor, No Noise, Leaks etc.2. Solid Body, No Rust....was a southern vehicle prior to my purchase.3. Interior in excellent shape. Leather solid and like new aside from one small (dime sized) puncture in center of drivers seat.4. Transmission completely rebuilt approx. 5k ago.5. New Brakes and Rotors.6. No Check Engine Lights on etc. Recently passed NYS Inspection. THE NOT SO GOOD:1. The ABS (Anti-Lock Brake) light is on. Does NOT affect the operation of vehicle or brakes. Passes Inspection.2. The 6-Disk CD player has stopped working. Radio works fine. Replacement of EBay for about 100.00.3. The rear window on the hatch has one broken hinge. Does not affect the use of the hatch. 20.00 part...I have just been too lazy to replace it as I never open the window on the hatch.4. Tires have about 25% left on them. Vehicle is sold as is/where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Vehicle is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle is sold.
