You are bidding on a 1946 Ford Convertible project with a Two Door parts car. The Convertible has about 4 cancer holes in the floorboard fingernail sized. The rest of the floorboard and trunk are very good (see pictures). It must have been stored laying on the driver's side at one toime because the driver's side cowl, door and quarter panal has a lot of cancer. The rest of the car is cancer free except at the very bottom of the passenger quarter panel. I haven't seen many of these 46-48 Fords that did not have rust through in that spot. The two door parts car is almost rust free. The skins of the driver's cowl, door and quarter panel can relace the rusted skins on the convertible. There is a good frame, good fenders and hood, not perfect but good. There is no motor or transmission or title. There is a dash and steering. The parts car has three of the four springs for seats. This is definitely a project but is a rare car at an affordable price. I have a lot of pictures and can answer your questions. The cars are located 50 miles east of McAlister, OK. You will be responsible for loading and shipping but I will meet you there and help. I am not fimiliar with the top mechanism so am not sure what is missing. One picture shows all the parts that are different than what I have with my other '46 closed cars. The chrome frame is there for three of the windows but one of the rear window frame is missing. I intended to build the car but decided to build one of my '46 Two Doors as a RestroMod. The auction may be ended eary since the car islisted locally.
