Vehicle Detail
Safe, sporty, reliable, great in the snow. This car will make a great daily driver. The story This car was originally bought and used to commute a short distance and garaged by the original owner. He sold it to an employee of his who had it for a couple years before selling it to me. This is my second E30, and you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one especially for New England. My mechanic, who specializes in older BMW's and Mercedes said it is the cleanest ix he has seen. I love this car and am selling it only because I have too many cars and not enough time or money to keep them all. The good: Low miles, clean interior, no cracks in dash, new tires, brakes, exhaust, mechanically very sound. All the power windows/sunroof work, heated seats, decent stereo with ipod connector, clean original rims, leather interior in great shape. The bad: There is some rust on both of the front fenders as well as under the battery in the back right. Otherwise there is no other rust. A/C doesnt blow that cold probably needs a charge. ABS light is on, it came on after I had the brakes redone, I suspect it is a loose connection. Cruise control does not work. Fuel tank vent is blocked so sometimes if windows are open car smells. Sometimes car doesnt go into park so you need to set the handbrake. Oh and I found out if you park it down hill in the rain it will leak into trunk in the jack well. So, the cars needs a few things (I'd recommend getting the fuel vent fixed, and I got an estimate for that and it was a couple hundred bucks), all the other major systems work fine. I am setting a low reserve because you most likely will want to fix a few of these things. This car would make a great daily driver, car for a college kid or someone who needs reliable transportation especially in snow. Presumably most people looking at this know something about the BMW 325ix, but in case you don't, the ix is all wheel drive, not only is it fun to drive but it is incredible in the snow. I may be able to deliver the car for an agreed upon fee within New England, otherwise you'll have to come get it and have your own plates.
