Vehicle Detail
I have a 64 Lincoln convertible for sale with a low reserve, I bough a car and this one had to be bought as a pair so I ended up with it. Ill put down what I know. Car has a/c power windows and locks, original 430 engine and trany. This car needs restoration to be a really nice driver. The motor turns but doesnt start, the car sits where the flat bed driver dropped it off. I really have no intention on restoring this car due to other rare car projects I have going on. Has surface rust it the typical areas and most of the cancer is on the trunk lid. The rear driver side door has cancer in the bottom corner and the floor board up front from what I found has a few small holes no bigger than a silver dollar. The under carriage looks great for a 47 year old car. the body is very straight with no signs of it being in a wreck. I know the hub caps on the car are not lincoln it was on there when I got the car. The car looks to be all complete, some of the convertible mechanics in the trunk were taken apart at one time by someone other than me but those items are there. I have a clean texas title in hand and the mileage on the odometer is 30,000 but I do not have any idea if it has flipped over, or if this car has only been driven that short of time. one other wierd thing on the car look like someone has put little flag holders on the front fenders for like parades or something. Feel free to ask any question u might have in mind and i'll do my best to answer them, Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Buyer is responsible for shipping, I can keep the car here for arrangements to be made to pick up the car no rush if your out of state, understandable for those of you that are far away. If you are the winning bidder please commit to auction, this car has been sold before on ebay and winning bidder backed out. The 1st few pics you will see that the tires are toast, I did put other used tires on the car and those weird hub caps on so the car would look more presentable. On Nov-02-11 at 11:40:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Also Lincoln only made 3,328 convertibles this year.
