Hello Ebay I am selling my 1987 Porsche 911 carrera cabriolet, built to look like a 930 turbo.(TURBO REPLICA,NON TURBO) 3.2 6cyl The Porsche has been recently painted in snow white, no dents, scratches or rust. This Porsche idles steady , runs, shifts fine and drives great, no leaks or smoke. It currently has 64,880 miles on it, could be slightly higher at end of auction due to test drives etc. The Porsche has an alarm system and blaupunkt navigation radio(both are installed, but not connected). Title for the Porsche is stated as "salvage" as per ebays policy, due to the vehicles history report. The Porsche was issued a new vin# through the state of california. The title for the Porsche is a clear NYS title,does not say salvage or anything its a regular NYS title, again ebay request that i put salvage in the title description, although it is clear and not stated to be on the title. The convertible top opens and closes tightly automatically, when closing it requires a little assistance in guiding it to engage in the locking system. this is due to one of the brackets that snapped which can be welded, there is a picture showing this. There is a crack on the dashboard. The hinge on the drivers side door that stops it from swinging out broke, very inexpensive piece to replace around twenty dollars on ebay. The passenger side window doesn't go down, not sure if its the regulator, switch or fuse either is an easy inexpensive fix. Air condition blows, but not cold could be out of freon, but its a convertible who needs a/c anyway? Doors lock from inside but not from outside not sure why. Driver side seat belt locking system is not installed, i believe i have all the pieces for it (have picture showing). The shocks that hold the front trunk open could use being replaced. I am not sure if the wide body was factory option or aftermarket, i know that it is not made of fiberglass , plastic, its metal. Tires are in great shape, i feel the rims can either be redone or powdercoated just to make the Porsche look even better,the porsche just got it painted, new center caps, lug nuts, emblems, new battery, gaskets, fuel line, ball joints and some other things i don't recall, all work done by pro Porsche mechanic. I have a brand new trunk carpet liner included. This Porsche gets a large amount of attention from anybody that sees it,real eye catcher am constantly given compliments and answering questions about it, it really is a nice looking car. Despite the little things like window not opening etc, most importantly the car runs and looks great, was told by mechanic that the engine and trans are in excellent shape. This Porsche is ready to be driven from my place to California, no problem. I tried to describe the Porsche as best and honestly as i can. Please bid on the Porsche only if you are 100% prepared to buy it, i am not interested in trades, low ball offers, parting out the car etc. The Porsche is also for sale locally I reserve the right to end auction early if need be. The Porsche is sold "as is", no warranty, no returns. I am not the first owner of the Porsche and cannot guarantee history, condition,reliability, mileage, history or performance of the vehicle. I cannot not be responsible for any damage caused to vehicle, by shipping once it leaves my possession ie. transporter, freight companies i will video record the condition and transaction at the moment. If Porsche is sold locally i can drive or have it delivered on flatbed at new owners expense. Deposit due within 48hrs (non refundable) at end of auction and pay balance within five days after.
