Every detail has been addressed and the Cadillac 4.9L V8 engine runs GREAT. The lucky winner of this auction will have the opportunity to own this one of a kind VERY LOW mileage 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT. An absoulute head turner with people asking if it is a Ferrari!! The paint is unbelievable and has a new car showroom shine with no chips or scratches. The interior of this vehicle is virtually flawless completely re-done and no detail missed with new leather being installed in 2009. All electronic components are in working condition A/C is ICE COLD heat is HOT etc. • The engine conversion was professionally installed by The Fiero Factory in Toney, Al A NEW 4.9 Liter V-8 Cadillac crate engine was installed when the odometer read 80k so the engine has just under 16k miles on it. This is an excellent powerplant for a Fiero. It is light, compact, and makes lots of Cadillac smooth power. The Cadillac 4 spd auto trans was used and any Fiero manual trans bolts directly to the engine without adapters if you wanted to convert to manual. There were no modifications done to the Fiero spaceframe. The Cadillac PCM (power control module) was installed and retained all the Cadillac emission equipment except for the complicated, bulky, electronically controlled evap system. The Fiero static system was used instead. They also use an extremely effective new, latest technology, catalytic converter in the custom exhaust system and new muffler system. While they had the Fiero a new brake system (Baretta vented front and back disk brakes) was installed including new master cylinder. Total for the conversion was over $10,000!The Fiero was lowered 3 inches for improved cornering and performance 18 inch wheels were used in the front with 19 inch in the rear. A Fiero in this condition, with these options and this color combination is an absolute rarity! This is destined to be a classic. Thousand's of dollars has been spent to restore this car and as a MUST sell it's our loss and your GAIN!!! I can tell you that the engine runs strong and the transmission shifts smooth and NOTHING mechanically needs addressed!
