VERY CLEAN 1995 Chevyrolet S10 Pickup Extended cab 2 wheel drive 5 speed manual/ 2.2 L 4 cylinder. NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN. One owner, my wife and I bought new in 1995 in Hickory NC. VIN check may show 2 owners but that is because we took my name off the title some years back, but it is still one owner car. She drove it most of the time. See the pics, I uploaded a lot. Truck has current NC safety inspection, tag, and insurance, we are driving it a little on the weekends only. My wife bought a Rav4 back in 2010 and we just don't need this truck any longer. 20 MPG City. (Will vary with driving style and type ) At 157,960 new motor put in. Motor came from Carolina Machine Engines in South Carolina. Cost $1408.00. Installed at Everett Chevrolet in Hickory NC. In February 2008 I broke a spark plug off so we decided to just go ahead and get a rebuilt motor as it was getting pretty old. We installed a motor rebuilt in SC, had it installed at Chevrolet dealership in Hickory, NC. It runs really good but does smoke occasionally on start up. While under warranty I consulted the rebuilder and since it was not using X amount of oil between oil changes it was not worth the trouble of dealing with it. It was a parts only warranty so I would have to pay the labor. Anyway, it runs really good and does use a little oil between oil changes, usually about a quart between changes (or 3000 miles). When motor was put in also had new fuel injectors. Various pros: Oil and filter has been changed at 3000 miles. New Clutch set put in with motor, Lifetime warranty from advance auto (paperwork included) (2/11/2008) Resurfaced flywheel. (2/11/2008) Lots of tread still on tires, Jack is intact in back seat storage area, spare is the factory tire and wheel still mounted under bed. Bought new tires at Sears in 2009? Battery installed 2/16/2010, warranty until 2016 from Advance Auto. In the last couple years has had new radiator, hoses, belt, airhog air filter, A/C compressor, heater core, battery, tires, headlights, etc. Catalytic convertor has been replaced (11/20/2005) and the exhaust from cat back is in great shape, quiet flow muffler (replaced within last couple of years). Shocks replaced, unknown date? Front grill was replaced, old one had lost its shine. Front bug shield. Headlight relay added to increase brightness, with this it does NOT have the daytime running lights, but can be removed if you want the daytime running lights to work. Tailgate cables and camper lid lift shocks replaced within a year. Interior in great condition, no holes in upholstery (actually had seats covered continuously up until about a year ago). Has an aftermarket set of carpeted floor mats. Radio works, am/fm/cassette A/C and heat work great. Have the owners manual, various receipts, and a rather worn out Haynes manual. Will have at least 15 gallons gas, Tank holds 21 gallons. Locking gas cap, put this on when gas prices started going up. Cons: Passenger door hinge is broken, it won't hold open but otherwise works as it should. Paint on roof is bad as well as a couple small areas on top of cover. Truck was repainted when new for rail dust spots and I guess the paint job was not as good as it should have been. Fuel gauge does NOT work, I reset the trip odometer when I fill up and I get about 100 miles per 1/4 tank (about 20 MPG city). Various dents and dings, expected for 16 years. Small crack in the fiberglass on side of camper cover. Small crack in front grill. A couple small cracks in dash. Steering wheel is urethane and has lost it's cmooth covering so we have a aftermarket steering wheel cover on it.
