This auction is for a 2000 Mazda Miata LS edition with only 66832 miles on it and a 5 speed manual transmission. This vehicle is located at my residence in NEW York zip code 10547 (please Google it) about 1 hour north of Manhattan .This car is being auctioned (Sold) "AS IS" "WHERE IS".The winning bidder is responsible for pickup.Payment will be in the form of cash at pickup. I would like the car picked up within one week of the auctions close ,unless other arrangements have been made.There is no warranty or Guarantee of any kind. I am starting the bidding at $1 with no reserve ,No buy it nows,etc.I plan to let the listing run it's course. Unless someone comes to see the car and makes me an offer I can't refuse.LOL. I am listing this vehicle for my parents,They purchased it from a used car dealership about 4 years ago as a summer/weekend car,During their 4 plus years of ownership they have put about 2000-3000 miles on it total. So mostly it sat in the garage.When they bought this car the ABS light was on, it still is I've been told these use 2 sensors which can be had for $20 used or approx $200 ea. new. The car also had noisy brakes,from sitting so within the last few months it had new front rotors and pads installed and new rear pads (original rear rotors were retained) The brakes have less than 500 miles on them. The car seems to run and drive fine there are several cosmetic issues with the car for starters the car has two rips in the original top (see photos) Tops are readily available ,prices start in the $170 range. Next the body it is overall clean appearing however it has it's share of dings,nicks,etc. There also is some rust through at the base of the windshield posts and some rust at the rear trunk lip,There also appears to be rust underneath the car on the suspension,control arms,,support beams,etc. I don't see any rot holes in the floor .Unfortunately I can't give a full report as I don't have a lift. The front chin spoiler (under the bumper) has it's share of scrapes,etc. I'd guess from curbs and such. The interior appears to be very clean,and never smoked in.The only issue I see is the drivers seat leather is cracked overall and torn in a small area( see picture) . For some good news this car has dual airbags with the capability to turn off the passenger bag,It has A Nardi steering wheel and A "BOSE" Stereo which sounds amazing. One last thing of note, the tires appear to have good tread, but they are dry rotted so they should be replaced as well. That said I feel this car would make a good driver/ project (spec miata,monster miata,etc.) for the right person. My parents paid $11k for this car we can't expect to get remotely close to that, so there loss is your gain. Once again I am starting the bidding low with no reserve. Because the car has issues and we will make no guarantees or promises about this car. So Please no emails like "Will you guarantee,that I could drive this car from N.Y.
