Up for auction is my first car I ever owned. I thought I would restore it but time is running out and there are other things I would rather do. And I hope someone will appreciate it and bring it back to life, whether as a whole or as a restoration support for another. The last time I drove this car was in 1987 and after that I parked it in the garage and it has not been started since. This car is in sad mechanical condition, as shown in the pictures, but the frame and the body are in pretty good condition with minimal rust. The car is original except for the transmission and the wheels . It is an MG midget transmission which I had put in around 1978. The wheels are 52 spoke with knock-off hubs, so they are not the suicide 48 spoke originals. The car was originally white and I painted it that light blue which was one of the original colors for MGA's. The original seat frames, convertible top frame and side curtain frames come with the vehicle along with the original satchel that holds the side curtain frames when the top is down. There is a spare tire, it is not a spoke wheel. There is no reserve and I am starting the bidding at a price that has been recently offered to me for the car. This car has a clear title. We live in Powhatan Virginia which is 30 miles west of Richmond. The car rolls and we will make sure it can be picked up on a car transport.
