1953 Studebaker Coupe with a rebuilt 185 flathead with dual carbs and exhaust, and a 5 speed tranny. The frame has been re-done and all the brakes replaced. The frame has been cleaned and painted. The body has been stripped and the few small rust spots were repaired correctly. The roof has been completely re-worked to be dent free. The rest of the body still needs to be gone over for small dents. The engine compartment, doors, and jams have all been painted with an off white, nearly cream paint. It was intended to paint the entire car the off-white and do the interior in a soft teal green with cloth inlays (as is shown in the rear seats that are done). There is enough product to complete the interior in the color shown. The trunk is clean and rust free,as are the interior floors. The engine starts and runs well as it should. It has zero road miles on it. The tranny is also in good shape. I have all parts for the completion of this car. They will be included with the sale. The bumpers, two front guards, rear license surround and the front grille surrounds are all newly re-plated. I have accumulated the 55 stainless trim to replace the pot metal that usually surrounds the windows. There is also a rubber kit from Stude International. There is about $4500.00 in the engine tranny and conversion for the 5 speed and about $1600.00 in new chrome. That is about where the reserve will be.
