A beautiful bright red Sprinter, equipped with new Ricon wheelchair lift on the side. The lift has 800lb. lifting capacity, and is a special "split floor" design, that keeps the doorway accessible at all times. The clearance from lift deck to the roof edge (vertical opening) is 58.5 inches. Lift dimensions are: S1231-P Stationary Frame Width - 45" Height (Folded) - 44.5" Installation Depth - 21.5" Usable Platform Width - 30" Usable Platform Length - 42" Floor To Ground Travel - 31" Traveling Frame Width - 37.5" Clear Entry Width - 31" This is our "big red fire truck" and we really love it! Engine and drivetrain are all Mercedes built... 2008 is the last year with Dodge branding. We are selling because we now have two handicapped children, and there is only one wheelchair position in this van. It seats up to 7 on the bench seats in back, one in the wheelchair, and 2 up front. Front seats are specially upgraded "air ride" seats with adjustable suspension pressure for comfort on the road. We purchased this van on eBay from a private seller in Idaho, and had the new lift professionally installed. It has never been smoked in. The van comes with snow tires mounted, and there is a complete set of four Continental four season radial tires, unmounted and like new, which the buyer also gets! Buyer also gets the front bench seat which was removed when the lift was installed. The roof is the low version, not the higher version. Everything is in very good condition. The only exterior damage is a faint marking in the paint on the passenger side door, and some faint lines on the hood left over from a "clearbra" front end protector which we removed after it cracked. The interior has been professionally cleaned, and the only damage is a slight separation of the roof liner, visible from the rear view. See pictures for further detail. The engine is smooth and amazingly quiet for a diesel, and the mileage is fantastic, often at 19 or 20 mpg around town! No urea or other additives are needed in the engine. This Sprinter has been serviced per the required schedule. Maintenance "A" was performed at a Mercedes dealership, and "B" (oil change) at a lube shop. The rear doors open very wide, and there is plenty of room behind the rear bench for luggage. With cruise control and 6-disc CD changer, it makes a great road trip vehicle. Keyless entry remote "switchblade" style keys, total of three keys included. Contrary to the eBay auto-generated features listing, there is no auto tilt/sliding sunroof! This is a super vehicle, and we are sorry to have to sell it!
