Selling my 1998 accord. This car needs engine work, either a head gasket or a new motor. A heater hose had a leak and blew out all the water. My daughter drove it on home (about 10-15 miles) while it was hot. I replaced the heater hose and it didn't get hot again, but after about 25 more miles, it started missing and smoking. That's all I know about it at this time. The engine has not been looked into at all, and it is up to the buyer to fix it. My daughter bought a Honda Odyssey as she needed more room for 3 kids. This car as had a new clutch put in about 4 or 5 months ago, and a tuneup with new plugs, which should be salvaged. The car runs, but it is not drivable for the purchaser to drive it off. So you will need a truck/trailer, or a car dolly to pull it. With engine work, this car should be well worth $3500 to $4500 easy, based on other ads and car lot prices I've seen. But it would also be a good commuter car as well once fixed up. The tires are not the best, but certainly have a little life left in them. Good biding.
