You may have seen the Chevy in the June 1992 issue of Street Rodder. This car was a concept car designed by a premeir artist Larry Anderson.This project was started in 1995 and was put on the back shelf, while work was done on other project. The builder fell on hard times and had to sell it. I picked up the 38 in about1998and worked on it for a while. Then I started to work on other project, now I an thinning the fleet. The car is chopped, with suicide doors. The "B" pillars have been removed, making it a hard top. This chevy has a one piece hood with fiberglass side panels, the rear finders and running boards are also fiberglass.1939 headlights are molded into the steel front fenders. The windshield is "V" butted with Specilty electric windshield wipers. The Specility power windows also The glass will have to be adjested to make a good seal. The Vintage Air needs only to be wired and hoses run to the vents under the dash.. This coupe has been sub franed with I belive a Nova sub. This 38 has power steering and power brakes. The tear drop gas filler door is made by Hagen. I have driven my38 on several long trips. The motor is a chevy IROC Z 350 TPI, I am not sure of the year but runs well and dose`t over heat. The trans is a 700R4 with a Lokar shifter. The rear end is a Chevy 10 bolt, I don`t know the gear ratio. The engin has a compleat set of March brackets and pulleys as well. As you can see the valve covers are also billet This 38 Chevy has a nice set of Dekota digital gauges, they all work. This chevy has a Ron Frances wireing harness. The inside door handles are made by Big Al. The seats are out of a Fors Probe, with 6 way power and has power lombar and bolsters. good for long rides This 38 Chevy rides on P185/60 R15 front and P245/60 R 15 on the back. I dont know who made the steel wheels. As with most cars it still needs to get squeks a rattles worked out.
