1991 Mercedes Benz 300E finished in Brilliant Silver with Blue Leather, a very rare and elegant color combination that gives the car a classic look. Having only 65k miles, the car is in excellent condition. It was located at Tysinger Mercedes in Hampton Virgina, purchased and brought to Connecticut. It has never seen snow and was shipped to Florida in the winters for the first few years of ownership and for the past 14 years it sat in the garage in CT during the winter and was only used in nice weather. It was used as a leisure car (golf course, theater, dinner etc.) and has never seen daily use. It has always been garaged and is in beautiful condition. The exterior of the car is stunning. Because the car was almost always in the garage, the paint is extremely well preserved. The paint is extremely deep and crystal clear; absolutely no sign of crazing or fade common on silver/smoke silver metallic cars; no swirl marks or other imperfections. If I were to rate the condition of the paint, I would give it a 10. Upon close inspection, I can only see two small dings on the car, the most notable of which is one near the rear driver's tail light, but the paint has not broken. I cannot locate any scratches. Certainly no rust on any part of the car. The lower front bumper has some scrapes on the bottom from brushing against tall curbs. It has never been in an accident. The chrome and trim are also in excellent condition. There is a small star crack in the windshield which has been filled by safelite; it is, however, blocked from line of sight by the rear view mirror. The wheels have a chip/scrape or two but are also in excellent condition. Overall the outside of the car is in amazing condition. If you have high expectations, you will not be let down. The interior of the car is also in excellent condition. The leather is soft and supple with only a faint crack or two. It retains its deep blue color from being constantly garaged in complete darkness. The wood also has retained its vibrant color and is in very good condition; there are only two small surface cracks in the finish near the window switches. The carpets are free from any stains, wear or fading. Owned by a non smoker. I also have a set of Mercedes mats which are not pictured. Unfortunately, the two small ashtrays in the back seat are not with the car. I believe that I have one but I know one is gone, I will have to take a look. All buttons on the inside of the car work with one exception: the power headrest adjustment on the passenger side does not work and I have not had it looked at. Aside from that everything works; radio, windows, sunroof, cruise control, heat is hot and the A/C is extremely cold. The headliner is flawless and sits perfectly in place. The dash is free from cracks. The rear headrests, housing, and area beneath the rear window are not faded and in great shape. Mechanically, the car performs flawlessly. It has been very well maintained and always serviced on time. It was maintained as a Mercedes should be. The engine is strong, the transmission shifts smoothly, the steering is tight and there are no abnormal noises. The car needs nothing that I am aware of. Recent bills include: new tires(less than 500 miles), new exhaust system, brakes and A/C service. The car drives perfectly. This car has been extremely well kept and very much loved. It has always been driven with tender care and respect and is in outstanding condition as a result. The extremely low mileage, excellent condition, and color combination make this car a very rare find. There are no disappointments here.
