I bought this truck in Texas and drove it back here to Michigan 3 1/2 years ago.There is no rust on the body but there were some dents that I repaired especially on top of the bed rails.It is close to being ready for paint.I paid $4950 for it and it needed work.I have put quite a lot of time and money into it since.I've replaced the complete exhaust system,starter,alternator,batteries,rear cab mounts,steering column/used because the joint was bad in original/tilt,the front brake rotors and pads,all front end joints including all four ball joints,all front end/axle grease seals.The transmission was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago.I had two bad injectors replaced,all of the glow plugs and the glow plug harness.The tires were replaced 12/09/10 so they are less than a year old.I charged the a/c system and it worked great until the lines from the condenser wore thru rubbing on the radiator support.If you replaced those lines and recharged the system I'm sure it would work again.the truck starts runs and drives good.The only issues are sometimes when you shut it off and start it again right away it will chug for a short time then the idle will smooth out and be back to normal,seems to only happen when driven for quite a while not on short trips.Does not effect driveability of the truck more of a minor nuisance.It uses and drips a little oil not bad.It has two 16 gallon fuel tanks with a selector switch.I installed new warn premium locking hubs.Four wheel drive system is shift on the fly and works good.There is a slight vibration above 65 m.p.h. could be one of the driveshaft u-joints? I never replaced them.I installed a superchips programmer about a year ago and it is in the tow mode.The power increase felt like a new engine.I have brand new in the box bushwacker street fender flares,stainless steel bed rail protectors,and front seat cover that are included with the truck.The windshield has a crack that runs across the bottom.was going to have replaced before paint.I'ts not perfect but a good truck for the money.
