For auction is my 1999 BMW 328i , as you can see the car looks is in good condition . I would say the body looks very presentable , it does have scratches on it due to the age . If you are looking for a showroom condition car then this is not the car for you . If you are looking for a desirable BMW that you can climb in turn the key and drive then I would suggest you read on as this car is worth a look . The body looks average to better in my opinion. The paint has a nice sheen and water beads on it. The pictures were taken recently just prior to listing so they are accurate. There is a small dent on the left front of the hood as pictured . The rest of the bodywork appears straight , on the passenger rear door there is a small cover piece missing on the handle as pictured but it is a $15 part new . The interior of the car is in reasonably good condition, showing normal where cosistent with a well maintained car of this year. The door panels are in good shape , the seats look presentable , there are some light scratches in the passenger front seat but there leather is all intact and looks very respectable . The carpets are in good shape as is the hood lining . The trunk mats are in good shape and have been kept clean and free of tears. The power windows work well and have auto and rear child lock. The car runs and drives , if I turn they key it will always start right up but it does need work . I was told by the mechanic that there is a vacuum leak in the intake somewhere and to balance it he unplugged the mass airflow sensor. What he tells me this does is makes the car use more fuel but it does run and drive as is. Also there is a small oil leak at the valve cover gasket. I drive the car a few hundred miles back and forth to work and do not worry, but it is not as economical as it should be. So if you are handy and can find the vacuum leak etc. then you will be all set. I am not that handy. Other than that obviously the check engine light is now on due to the airflow sensor being unplugged . I have also completed some basic TLC and general maintenance items that I am capable of. The car has new brake discs and pads on all 4 wheels, all the bulbs on lights and signals are working, and there are new air and oil filters. There are some scheduled items that I have not gotten around to, but again if you are handy you are all set. The car could be a daily driver if you choose. It would also make a great second or spare car for someone in need of such a thing. Either way it's a oppurtunity and it's up to you . The description reflects this car as best as I can. What you see is what you get and we are obviously selling it as is. I am happy to say that it will run and drive when you get here, you can start it up and take it for a drive .
