I don't want to sell it. I don't even want to see anyone else sitting in this car. I've wanted this car since I was 18 years old. But in real life, we need the money, so here goes: This is a 1951 4-door Mercury sedan, with the exception of the backseat frame and an interior, it's all here. The starter solenoid fried itself on me a little while back, other than that the ORIGINAL mercury flat-head V8 fires right up and still burns the tires on this old girl just fine. Someone previous to me shaved all of the trim, frenched the headlights, put on 55-56 pontiac trim, a 51 DeSoto grille (I do have all of the "teeth") and the back clip of what appears to be a packard with a custom bumper, lakeside pipes and straight pipes that come out of the bumper. It's a project but this car is already custom, all of the bodywork was done in lead- no b.s. bondo here. Comps completed on the web are going from the high 30s to 50k.
